Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: Session time = 3.30-6.30pm Surf / Sea State: LT@4.30pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: WtW sunshine :) Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Grey grim and windless on arrival for a planned midweek shingly "loopathon"
but the skies cleared soon after launching to reveal glorious warm summer
sunshine. The wind also picked up sufficiently to allow consistent planing
on the big board but the few extra mph that would have been required for a
really decent session were still lacking. So nothing particularly to write
home about from today but I did try a few wymaroos to feel included in the
looping theme, in addition to nailing one really good body drag and
attempting a bit of switch stance sailing with a view to trying some duck
tacks. Which was wishful thinking of course.
Only 2 stars for the marginal conditions but the weather and company were
good so I musn't grumble.
